Aaron Rodgers is looking ahead and envisioning playing another decade in the NFL.

“I want to play another seven, eight, nine, 10 years,” Rodgers told The MMQB’s Peter King.

Rodgers is 33 years old and will turn 34 before the season ends. He credits his health and positive outlook to his eating habits and a workout regimen that includes “a lot of stretching and yoga,” which he said helps preserve his legs.

The two-time NFL MVP said he emailed Tom Brady to wish him a happy 40th birthday last week and told Brady he looks more mobile than ever before.

Rodgers’ playing style is far more dependent on mobility than Brady’s, so it’s fair to question whether Rodgers will have to change things up if he is to play until he’s 40.

He doesn’t seem to think so.

“The way I want to play even when I am 40-plus, I want to be moving around, and making plays outside the pocket like I still am, so I have to keep up with the yoga.”
