The Boston Celtics are hoping to make the final leap to championship glory after finishing first in the Eastern Conference last season, and who better to learn from than the defending Super Bowl winners.

Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas attended a joint practice between the New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday. Thomas brought along his two children and perched in the front row.

Thomas explained that he came to “watch greatness,” see how the Patriots prepared, and show his support for the likes of Tom Brady and Julian Edelman.

The affable point guard was eventually spotted by Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who came by to offer his compliments. Thomas averaged a career-best 28.9 points per game last season and is hoping to lead a reloaded Celtics team on a championship push next summer.
