Usually a player’s first NFL training camp is an eye-opening experience, but Ryan Anderson seems comfortable with the physicality thus far.
“Practices there are a little bit rougher than here,” Anderson said Friday, according to Michelle R. Martinelli of For The Win. “We do a lot of banging around there, so it definitely prepared me physically and mentally for this grind that I’m doing now.”
That being said, the 2017 second-round pick made sure to point out the talent level is night and day from college to the pros.
“I ain’t taking no reps against no freshman that just coming in from high school,” Anderson said. “All these guys are good, and they’ve got families to feed. So you’re gonna have to go hard every play out there, you know, just try to get your foot in the door.”
