Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer could be moving up in the pecking order after an impressive first week of camp.

“Absolutely, I will (look into shuffling the QBs),” Browns head coach Hue Jackson said of his team’s passing competition, according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com. “I have to. We have a game next Thursday. (But) it doesn’t mean whichever road we decide to travel for next Thursday … that is the starter for the season.”

Kizer has reportedly split first-team reps with Cody Kessler as well as handled the third-team reps, so the Browns appear to want to put as much on their second-round pick’s plate as he can handle.

Brock Osweiler is also part of the competition and has a shot to start Week 1, though he has mostly taken reps with the second stringers.
