Britney Spears may be returning to the Super Bowl halftime show.
The pop star’s associates have had “secret discussions” with television and advertising executives connected to Super Bowl LII, according to the New York Daily News.
“Britney has made it clear to her team that it is a dream to perform at a Super Bowl,” one insider told the Daily News. “She has the hits package and appeal to be a headliner.”
The report goes on to say that Spears could “also be packaged with other big acts to fill the 12-minute slot.”
The 35-year-old previously performed alongside NSYNC, Aerosmith, Nelly, and Mary J. Blige during the Super Bowl XXXV halftime show in 2001.
