Donald has let it be known he’s interested in a new, much richer deal, and hinted that a holdout may be possible if he can’t come to terms with the Rams in the near future.
If he does opt to hold out, it appears his teammates won’t hold it against him.
“We support Aaron in any decision he makes,” fellow defensive tackle Michael Brockers said on SiriusXM NFL Radio. “We respect him and he deserves a big deal. He wows me every day.”
In three seasons, Donald finds himself among the best at his position. He’s a player the Rams can ill afford to be without as they hope to build on their 4-12 showing a year ago.
