Colin Kaepernick has been keeping busy this offseason despite remaining unsigned, most recently joining San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Marquise Goodwin on a trip to Egypt.

The free-agent quarterback popped up in some of Goodwin’s Instagram photos, which show them visiting the Temple of Philae in Aswan and the Temple of Horus in Edfu.

Goodwin was a big supporter of Kaepernick’s national anthem protest while with the Bills last season, telling Nick Veronica of the Buffalo News, “We’ll look back in 20 years, 30 years from now and be, like, ‘This dude stood for something.'” The two also exchanged jerseys after the Bills defeated the 49ers in October.
