There is still no timetable for his return, but Minnesota Vikings teammates insist quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has looked impressive at minicamp as he recovers from a devastating knee injury he suffered just before the start of last season.

Bridgewater suffered a dislocated left knee and torn ligaments on a non-contact drill and missed the entire 2016 season because of it.

“I have been around this game for a long time, and I do not think I have ever seen as devastating of an injury as that,” tight end Kyle Rudolph said to Ben Goessling of ESPN.

Bridgewater has pushed on, however, to return to a team with Super Bowl aspirations. From what his teammates have seen of him this summer, they’re optimistic.

“He looks great – really great,” receiver Laquon Treadwell said. “It’s like he was never hurt.”
