Odell Beckham Jr.‘s absence from organized team activities (OTAs) didn’t hinder him one bit, as the New York Giants superstar arrived at mandatory minicamp Tuesday to rave reviews.

Beckham skipped OTAs, opting to work out among friends, including Johnny Manziel. The three-time Pro Bowler was also a fixture at the NBA Finals, sitting courtside at Oracle Arena.

Giants head coach Ben McAdoo was elated by Beckham’s performance, noting that the wide receiver appeared to be in peak shape.

“It’s great to have Odell back. He didn’t miss a beat,” McAdoo said, via Kimberly Jones of NFL Network.

Beckham is the driving force of a Giants passing game which includes Brandon Marshall, Sterling Shepard, and 2017 first-round pick Evan Engram. If the early returns are a predictor of future success, the Giants are in for a promising season.
