Seattle Seahawks running back Eddie Lacy will collect a $55,000 bonus after weighing in below 250 pounds on Monday, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

Lacy also earned a $55,000 bonus on May 15 after weighing in at 253 pounds. Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll told reporters in March that he wants Lacy to be around the 240-pound mark.

The veteran running back signed a one-year, $5.5-million contract with the Seahawks in March, after spending the first four years of his career with the Green Bay Packers.

Lacy will battle Thomas Rawls, C.J. Prosise, and Alex Collins for playing time this fall.
