UNLV is hoping the Oakland Raiders‘ move to Las Vegas gives them a new place to play.

The two sides are working on a deal that would allow the Rebels to use the Raiders’ new stadium for their games on Saturdays. Las Vegas Stadium Authority board chairman Steve Hill said they are working out some final issues.

“I think there is a pretty solid shared understanding of what that agreement will look like,” Hill told The Associated Press. “There are some technical issues that we just need to figure out, such as, you know, what’s the field configuration going to be? Is it going to be natural turf or AstroTurf for UNLV?”

A law allowing $750 million in tax dollars to go to the stadium also stipulated that UNLV could use the facility. The Rebels won’t pay rent, but they will cover the operating costs when they use it.

The 65,000 seat stadium is expected to be ready in 2020.
