JuJu Smith-Schuster was just trying to pick up a tip or two when he reached to Pittsburgh Steelers star Antonio Brown over a year ago.

Now he’s getting first-hand lessons on a daily basis.

On Sunday, the Steelers’ second-round pick shared a screenshot of an Instagram message he sent to Brown during his time in college, expressing his appreciation for being drafted by Pittsburgh.

Brown isn’t the only member of Steelers Nation to offer Smith-Schuster a hand, as former Pittsburgh safety and fellow USC alum Troy Polamalu also reached out to the rookie pass catcher.

“Anything you need, I’m out in Pittsburgh, let me now,” Smith-Schuster said Polamulo told him, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. “He’s always there to help.”

Smith-Schuster, a star in college, joins a crowded receiver corps on his first NFL season, though he’s willing to take a less prominent role if it means helps the Steelers win.

“I will do anything possible to bring the Steelers back to the Super Bowl,” said Smith-Schuster after “Whether that’s on special teams, being a backup or a role player, anything that it takes.”
