The Philadelphia Eagles aren’t waiting to play another team before getting in the competitive spirit.

With offseason workouts and minicamps underway, the Eagles have set up a program that rewards players for victories over their teammates in a weekly series of games ranging from tug-of-war battles and agility tests to weight-room competitions.

Using a points-based program, winners are awarded a variation of prizes after each week, according to the team website.

• T-shirts are given out weekly to the winners.

• The winners – three total, unless there are ties – also get coveted parking spots at the front of the NovaCare Complex parking lot. The spots are marked off for “Competition Winners Only” – for the week after they win.

• Back-to-back winners are permitted to select the music in the strength room for a full week after they win.

Whoever has the most points at the end of the spring program will be awarded a “WWE-style championship belt.”

The program divides the team into three categories based on body types – The Line division (offensive and defensive linemen), The Big Skill division (quarterbacks, tight ends, and linebackers), and the Skill division (receivers, running backs, and defensive backs).

With the first set of winners claiming their prizes on Monday, Alshon Jeffery, Malcolm Jenkins, Vinny Curry, Najee Goode, and Mychal Kendricks were named the victors.
