Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin was grateful and very comical as he delivered the commencement address at Robert Morris University on Friday.
Tomlin was greeted with loud cheers as the crowd waved Terrible Towels, and quickly chose to poke fun at himself for using profanity in the postgame locker room speech that Antonio Brown broadcasted on Facebook Live this season.
“I’ll proceed with a couple of assumptions,” said Tomlin. “And I realize that assumptions are very dangerous. There’s a cliche about assuming, isn’t it? It can make Patriots out of you and me.
“I’ll proceed with the assumption that, in some form or fashion, one or more of you out there are somehow livestreaming this on the internet. And I’ll behave accordingly.”
