Teddy Bridgewater certainly isn’t giving up.

Hours after Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer gave the most positive update on his injured quarterback since he went down, Bridgewater sent a subtweet of sorts reminding his fans that he knows how to battle through pain.

Bridgewater is referencing a 20-17 win from his sophomore season against Rutgers where he indeed had a broken wrist and a sore ankle that prevented him from lining up under center.

The Louisville quarterback was apparently too hurt to start the game, but came off the bench to throw for 263 yards and two touchdowns in a win that qualified his team for the Bowl Championship Series.

There is still no timeline for Bridgewater’s return from the injury that tore his ACL and MCL and created other ligament damage, but he seems to be keeping his spirits up.
