The Green Bay Packers attempted to trade backup quarterback Brett Hundley during the second day of the 2017 NFL Draft, reports ESPN’s Rob Demovsky.

The Packers “came close” to dealing Hundley to an unspecified team, but were ultimately unable to pull off the move, added Demovsky.

While Hundley will likely continue to be the No. 2 behind Aaron Rodgers for the 2017 season, it appears the Packers are looking to upgrade their quarterback depth.
