Free-agent guard Jahri Evans signed with the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Evans is best known for his tenure with the New Orleans Saints, with whom he was named to six Pro Bowls and helped the organization to their lone Super Bowl victory in franchise history.

After the Packers allowed T.J. Lang to walk in free agency, Evans fills a vacancy on the team’s vaunted offensive line.

He started all 16 games for the Saints last season in his second stint with the franchise.
