Marshawn Lynch announced his retirement in the most Marshawn Lynch way possible: by tweeting a photo of his cleats hanging from a power line with a peace emoji during the Super Bowl a year ago:

We still don’t know for sure if Lynch truly does desire to play football again, but knowing he’s wanted in Oakland could potentially influence his decision.
Of course, joining the Raiders isn’t as simple as Lynch merely deciding to do so. If Lynch comes out of retirement, the Seattle Seahawks will own his rights and will have to decide whether to hold Lynch, release him, or try to trade him.
