The New York Jets hosted receiver Quinton Patton on a free-agent visit Saturday.

The Jets said goodbye to veteran receiver Brandon Marshall to begin the offseason and could fill out the depth chart at the position with the addition of Patton. The team currently features Eric Decker, Quincy Enunwa, Robby Anderson, and the recently suspended Jalin Marshall at wideout.

Patton had the best year of his career in 2016 for the San Francisco 49ers, starting all 14 games he played in and hauling in 37 passes for 408 yards. His season included a four-catch performance against the Jets in Week 14.
