The Minnesota Vikings have scheduled a free-agent visit with veteran tight end Jared Cook, Tom Pelissero of USA Today reports.

Cook is a free agent for the second time in as many offseasons after playing out a one-year deal with the Green Bay Packers.

A new deal in Green Bay initially seemed possible, but the addition of Martellus Bennett ensured that he’d be moving on to the third team of his NFL career.

Cook is meeting with the Seahawks on Tuesday, so the Vikings being able to bring him in will depend on whether he leaves Seattle without a deal.

More to come.
