Free-agent tight end Jared Cook is expected to meet with the Oakland Raiders, assuming he leaves his visit with the Minnesota Vikings without a contract, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports.

Cook is one of the few starting-caliber tight ends left available on the open market and is coming off a strong season with the Green Bay Packers.

The Raiders’ offense is stacked with talent, but is in need of a receiving threat at tight end, with Clive Walford producing 359 receiving yards in 15 games last season – a number exceeded by Cooks in five fewer games.
