The Bengals are set to re-sign offensive tackle Andre Smith, who spent the first seven seasons of his career in Cincinnati after being taken in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft, sources told Jeff Darlington of ESPN.

Smith signed a one-year deal, a source told Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

The 30-year-old spent the 2016 campaign with the Minnesota Vikings, starting four games before suffering a season-ending triceps injury.

Smith will likely act as depth on an offensive line which lost stars Andrew Whitworth and Kevin Zeitler in free agency.
