The New York Jets officially announced a number of roster moves on Thursday, including the release of former star corner Darrelle Revis.

In his second tour of duty with the Jets, Revis’ play declined significantly in 2016, leading the team to cut ties with the man who formerly coined the term “Revis Island.”

The 31-year-old is also scheduled to attend a preliminary hearing for criminal charges in regards to a physical altercation with two men in Pittsburgh in February.
