Mike Pettine’s tenure as Cleveland Browns head coach could be coming to a swift end.

Members of the organization believe that Pettine will be fired after Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to NFL Network’s Rand Getlin.

Through two seasons, Pettine compiled an abysmal 10-21 record.

Jimmy Haslam is proving to be an impatient owner, notoriously firing Rob Chudzinski after one poor season. Haslam is likely intolerant of another losing season, and it’s plausible the Browns will start their search for a new head coach Monday.

With a young core to work with, the Browns could be a desirable location for a coach seeking to make a visible imprint.
